In today’s blog, we will be talking about the countries outside Africa Nigerians can visit without a visa. There are few countries Nigerians can travel to without visas, in which some of which offer entry permits on arrival and other countries offer visas on arrival.

We will now move straight to the countries Nigerians can travel to without a visa.

1. Barbados – here, if you are traveling on a Nigerian passport, you will not need a visa to enter Barbados. But you may require a transit visa depending on which country your flight takes you through and how long. Meanwhile, try to confirm this with your airline. And Nigerian citizens can even stay up to a period of six months in the country without a visa.

2. St. Kitts and Nevis – as Nigerians, you do not need a visa to travel to st. Kitts and Nevis. And Nigerians visiting this place can stay up to a period of 90 days visa-free. Meanwhile, you must have a valid Nigerian passport with a lot of blank spaces for stamps. Also, the cheapest way to travel to st. Kitts and Nevis are through flight which cost $1200 to $1500 and takes 25hr 9 min. And the quickest way is to st. Kitts are $1000 to $ 3800 and take 21hours 45mins.

3. Haiti – As a nigerian citizen, you can arrive in Haiti without a visa. And after arriving you will need to go to the Haiti immigration counter to show your passport and travel document from Nigeria and get your entry stamp. Then you can stay in Haiti for the duration of your stamping.

4. Dominica – this is also another one of the Countries Outside Africa Nigerians Can Visit Without A Visa.

5. Micronesia – here the Nigerians looking to visit Micronesia can do so without a visa. A passport is important and needed to be granted entry. Meanwhile, passports must be valid for a 120-day period after the end of the intended visit.

6. Fiji – tourist visa for Fiji from Nigeria is free. And the maximum duration of stay is 4 months. And their embassy is in Abuja.

Countries Offering Nigerians An Entry Permit On Arrival Are :

 

1. Nicaragua – note that there is no Nicaraguan embassy or consulate present in Nigeria, but you can get through other countries nearby. Visa is not required for this destination for a period of stay of up to 90days. But you must hold a valid passport for at least six months beyond your date of country exit and with some blank visa page to get your entry permit. And you must own proof of onward and return flights.

 

2. Samoa – Nigerians visiting Samoa can obtain an entry permit on arrival for a stay of up to 60 days. If you are visiting Samoa, you must have a passport valid for six months, in which you will need to get your entry permit,  and you must have a return and onward ticket, and a copy of your bank statement.

3. Cambodia – If you are a Nigerian and want to visit Cambodia, you can visit and stay for a duration of 30 days without a visa. But a travel permit. Intending visitors can gain entry into Cambodia by applying for an e-visa for $30, which takes about 5 days to process. And you must have a passport valid for 6 months beyond your stay in Cambodia.

 

4. Bangladesh – this used to be a visa-free country before, but you are going to need a visa from Nigeria to travel to Bangladesh. You will also need enough information to obtain your visa and complete information as a visitor from another Country.

 

 

Then, Countries Offering Nigerians A Visa On Arrival Are :

 

1. Tuvalu – here a Tuvalu visa on arrival is available on arrival for Nigerian citizens. Also, the maximum duration of stay is one month.

2. Timor-Liste – this is one of the visa-free countries a Nigerian can travel to and they allow a 30 days period of stay. Put in mind that Timor-Liste is a cool place you can explore.

3. Palau – Nigerian citizens can go to Palau and get visas on arrival. The visa policy in Palau permits Nigerian citizens to get a visa upon their arrival at any international airport in Palau. Also. Nigerians can travel for up to a period of 30 days.

4. Seychelles – If you hold a Nigerian passport you can travel to Seychelles without a visa but will need to get a visa upon arrival. And you can stay up to 30 days period. Then on arrival, travelers will need to provide evidence of onward or return transportation, confirmed accommodation, and proof of sufficient funds, which after will be issued a visitor’s permit.
