So you are in Nigeria and a Nigerian that wants to visit or immigrate to Tanzania, then these documents should be brought to the Visa Application center;

  • Nigerian International passport
  • A well-filled Tanzanian visa application form
  • 2 recent passport-sized photos
  • Tanzanian Visa application fees
  • An Invitation letter (Tanzania Visitor visa applicants)
  • An Introduction letter from the applicant’s employer (Tanzania Working visa applicants)
  • Itineraries and Hotel reservation (Tanzania Visitor visa applicants)
  • Proof of Yellow fever vaccination

1. Tanzanian Business Visa

2. Tanzanian Tourist Visa (Holiday Visa)

This is issued to those who are traveling to Tanzania for the following purposes such as tourism, vacation, Holiday, visiting Friends, and Family. The Visa applicant must provide a round trip ticket confirming date to entering and exiting.

3. Tanzanian Transit Visa

The Tanzanian transit visa, issued to persons traveling through Tanzania for no longer than 3 days. It is also issued to persons who are traveling to join a ship as a member of the crew.
The applicant for this visa should have an onward ticket, money that would suffice the travel expenses, and an entry visa into the third country.

4. Tanzanian Working Visa

There are 2 types of working Visa for Tanzania which is the Temporary work Visa and Permanent work Visa. This Visa is issued to those who wish to work in Tanzania.

5. Referred Visa

Nigeria and some other African countries need this type of Visa before entering Tanzania. The referred Visa is the type that needs special clearance from the Director of immigration in Das es Salaam before entering Tanzania
