UK Tier 4 Dependant Visa

Hello,

Here I will be writing about a client question on UK tier 4 dependant visa ,

It goes – I am a dependent of my husband who is on a tier 4 student visa.

And I currently work.

Our visas ends in 2021 however my husband is thinking of going back to his country after he completes his PHD this December.

Does that mean I will have to leave even if my visa isn’t expiring until 2021?

Can I still stay in my current visa?

I will appreciate your responses.

Thank you.

Response –

Question – Does that mean I will have to leave even if my visa isn’t expiring until 2021

Answer – Yes.

Question – Can I still stay in my current visa?

Answer –  No. If the main migrant leaves the UK, someone with a visa as their dependant needs to leave too.

This is from a immigration forum for you with similar issues to learn from.

Thank you for reading.
